It’s hard to believe we are half way through 2017 and at the end of another financial year!

The past 6 months have been a whirlwind at NEXA – a really positive and uplifting season of successes and change.

Firstly, we hosted the inaugural Health Roadshow series “Optimising the Patient Journey” in Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast.  The events were kindly hosted by the Prince of Wales Hospital, Royal Children’s Hospital and the Gold Coast University Hospital respectively. We had over 200 registrants from the top hospitals, consultancies and more. We were joined by Lior Miller, Q-nomy’s Chief Healthcare Solution Architect, who shared some deeply insightful information about global trends, with the attendees.

Secondly, Dennis Singh, an experienced Customer Experience professional, joined our team to accelerate and expand our CX capabilities within the business, and complement and provide a deeper focus and concentration for the advanced software platform we are already able to provide. Dennis has been working on some extremely interesting projects, including a large country-wide retail initiative to optimise their customer engagement and some close-quarters end-user consultancy for a leading healthcare provider in Victoria to help them to understand their own Customer Profiles and which opportunities can solve their client needs as they prepare for NDIS. This compelling value proposition for existing and new clients is setting us apart in the industry and broadening our target market.

Thirdly, our involvement with Service New South Wales (SNSW) continues to be recognised nationally and internationally and this has resulted in NEXA being awarded a major contract from another State Government organisation to optimise their customer flow.

Lastly, we continue to work with tertiary education institutions across the country to help them improve their student experience. Most recently Curtin University opened their new one-stop hub for student services, Curtin Connect, which NEXA’s Q-Flow forms the backbone of the operations. Students are one of the most demanding consumer groups and our Education Solution continues to delight Student Service Centre operators across over 30 deployments across Australia and New Zealand.

On a softer note, we remain committed to the Starlight Foundation and participated in Starlight Day to help them raise their $1.3million target. We attended the Starlight 5 Chef’s Dinner and spent time in the Starlight Express Room at Sydney Children’s Hospital handing out cards of encouragement and gifts to the children.

As we all start the new financial year, we hope you will feel refreshed and renewed. For the NEXA team, we start the new financial year in a new office which is a collaborative and inspiring place for our team to work and connect. We welcome all of you to visit us there.

There will also be significant changes to our website in the next few months; more details about our expanded service offering, new partnerships and client announcements and exciting new members of our team who we can’t wait to introduce to you. It’s all systems go at NEXA and we’re so excited that you are coming along for the journey with us!
